Hi, Just wondering if anyone experiences a similar problem as me? I recently joined the server and have recently been joining raids but I find myself dc-ing so often that it is actually unplayable (i dced around 7-8 times per raid). Is this normal for this server or is it due to the sudden surge in players recently? I am using NVIDIA and have already downloaded the NVIDIA client.
Pretty sure that happens to most, if not everyone. I'll dc maybe 2~3 times a raid so it's not that bad, also during guild wars too.
I've already downloaded the raid client but am still disconnecting / crashing more than most. It's sad cause this server is really fun but the bossing situation is really tough.
A few things i do with my client that i think might help: 1) set it to run as admin 2) set compatibility mode for windows xp SP3 *this might make it harder to open the game (sometimes i get a weird message and maple wont open) but when i open its more stable. Also you can try but i dont bother to do: EACH TIME YOU OPEN THE GAME go to task manager, click Details, right click MapleSaga, go to "set priority" and click on "high".
Would like to just share that Alvina's solution worked really well. I dc only twice per raid now, thanks a lot for the solution!
What's weird for me is, setting compatibility to xp sp3 doesn't work, I still DC every 2 minutes or so. But setting it to xp sp2 worked (DC 2-3 times per raid). Before, I would DC without any warning. But with xp sp2, my graphic would turn weird before I DC. usually the background turns to horizontal bars before DC happens. I think this is a Nvdia issue. I don't have this issue on my 10 year old laptop that's running on intel graphic. Only on my desktop with nvdia graphic card.
Try this setting.. With sierra client,Lowest your in game graphic setting and toggleanim/mega everytime you raid..work for me Ps* im using windows10 os and gtx1060 nvidia
