Unable to open on mac

    I have Googled up many of the past posts on such issues for maplesaga
    I deleted the game to focus on my studies for a bit, but want to reinstall and play again now but can't manage to
    I've installed it first before trying to open
    I've tried restarting my computer, I've tried running test run, I've tried moving the app and/or the folder to the desktop, and also re-downloading it from the .zip file, and also re-downloading the .zip file itself from both MEGA and Google Drive
    But none of it is working for me

    Please help!
    The app opens and I see the maplestory icon, but no window opens at all for the game
    And I have to force quit the app every time

    so sorry i am not a mac book user, and i am bad at IT.

    thanks for the response, but I can't exactly recall how I did it previously - I just know I followed the same instructions and didn't face any issues opening maplesaga then

    Facing the same issue as this unresolved forum post: https://forums.maplesaga.com/index.php?threads/cant-open-mac-client.7781/
    Tried uninstalling my antivirus, restarting again, downloading in my Downloads, Applications, Documents, Desktop folder
    (of course, uninstalling/deleting the previous before trying to reinstall again)

    Nothing seems to be working
    Below are results of Package Contents Advanced Test Run - if it helps any IT ppl out there

    Finally figured it out!!!
    (After trying myriad of methods & ways and countless restarts)

    I don't understand why this is so, but it seems like unzipping the folder from the application 'Archive Utility' instead of 'iUnarchive' (which I had used previously) was what worked
    Some other steps I took - which I don't think contributed to solving this, but if it helps for future users:
    1. Downloaded & unzipped in Downloads folder - I don't think this matters
    2. Allow Apps downloaded from 'Anywhere' (you need this step obv)
    3. It'll open in a window-ed wine screen
    - If you want full screen, you can right click on MapleSaga > Show Package Contents > Wineskin > Set Screen Options (i personally prefer window cause I can switch between apps & move the screen around too while playing)
