Decided to start playing maplesaga again, after many years of taking a break. Downloaded the windows 10 client through MEGA, finished downloading and click play after download. A pop up occurs saying that it was terminated for having a virus. I have windows defender, so I tried following the steps to set it as an exclusion and the .exe file does not exist. It looks like my windows defender deletes the .exe before it finishes downloading
I have Windows 10 as well. You will need to add both the MapleSaga file and folder to the list of exclusions. I've also completely turned off my Windows Defender and haven't had any issues since. Hope this helps! Spoiler: stop delete saga
I tried doing this and it doesn't work... the .exe file automatically gets deleted once my computer finishes downloading it. Even turning off my firewall didn't stop it.
