I couldn't use boomerang step on cliff/edges although the new patch says I could do so. Please look into this matter. My other shadower friend however can use it but smokescreen doesn't give any blocking effect. Are we experiencing different bugs although it's the same job?
I am able to bstep and smoke with no problems. Have you tried doing a clean reinstall of the latest client? Try uninstalling your current client and also delete all remaining files in the MapleSaga folder before downloading and installing the latest client.
Your operating system cached the old client. Uninstall the game through the Control Panel and re-install it.
