Hey there, I've been on the server for my second day now and i didn't encounter much on day one except now that we're passing level 20 and do boss runs me and my friends, i tend to crash and the issue becomes chronic when i relaunch the game, it goes like this I play the game just fine and the sounds are in place at first, after a while my jump or attack sound will fade or not complete itself like it's stuck. and after a couple map switches the music that plays gets into a stuck loop those are the symptoms i get before the game crashes. This mostly happens in BOSS PQ's, I've tried re-installing but no result, what could it be?
would love a reply / resolve, because this is really annoying. i cant be the only one with this issue?
My best guess would be something server sided, but not everyone is getting this. I would see if your CPU spikes when ever this happens so run the game in windowed mode and watch your CPU as this happens, and then let me know if it spikes.
This may be hard to believe but the conclusion made among v62 private servers is that the newer your computer and operating system are, the more your v62 client will crash. A few options that players go for: They run a virtual machine with Windows 7 installed to play the game while raiding. They run Bootcamp on a Mac computer with Windows 7 installed. They purchase or re-use a weaker computer to play the game on (a player did this during Summer 2016, purchasing a weaker computer for $80).
i am running windows 7, didn't update my graphics yet, havn't tried on my laptop but that is windows 10, a mate has windows 10 and better graphic drivers/card and doesn't have this issue, is it perhaps an issue wth the resolution or?
