Character Name: Hyunter Problem: Smokescreen has not been working for me (everyone else in party gets protected perfectly fine). Details: I even reinstalled the game, but smokescreen still doesn't protect me at all. The problem has been going on for 3+ days.
The solution that fixes this is a clean boot, not just a restart. For windows 8.1 specfically, you had to: 1. Go to msconfig 2. System Config > Services - Hide all Microsoft Services - Disable all 3. System Config > Startup - Open Task Manager - Disable every Startup items - Close Task Manager - Press OK.
