For the past few days, having a bad case of lag when playing maple. Noticed my connection is routed to France when I'm in Malaysia? Could that be a factor? Thanks IGN: Elum2
I was wondering why there is some delays after the 2pm GMT+8 time. But sometimes it doesn't happen though, but it's still annoying I guess. The influx of alot of players might have been making the server traffic heavy recently maybe. I hope this was addressed though too. -IGN : VioletGarden
If you're in-game, change channels and see if it improves. Otherwise, log on and see if it's improved.
Well actually Thanks Alex, it's better already though I wonder was it because of the routing to wrong server that caused the lag or just plain server problem?
Almost all of the players who are reporting lag problems so far are based out of Malaysia. Our servers have DDoS protection built in, using a blacklist. It's possible that there were a few DDoS attacks coming from Malaysia recently, leading to latency issues from that region.
