    starting to play with my buddies. 2 of us are in the game, but the last one can't play because of this issue when the game downloads. Any suggestions?

    He doesnt have an anti-virus... just standard windows defender.

    Windows Defender needs to be disabled during installation and an exclusion needs to be added for the MapleSaga folder (after the installation is complete).
