Can't submit quest: the missing mechanical parts

    Hi, I finished the jump quest and collected 10 mechanical parts and I am supposed to talk to assistant cheng to hand in the quest but I cannot? It says the quest is still in progress and if I go back to the jump quest map (sector 4) I will lose all of the mechanical parts that I collected. Is this a bug? See screenshot for 10 parts and quest still in progress.
