Resolved New HD Client requires windows higher than 98

    New HD client requires windows higher than 98. The crossover for mac guide says one should configure wine with windows 98. I can play on old client on win 98, can't install new HD client on win 98.

    In your MapleSaga folder, rename dinput8.dll to dinput8_.dll and try again.

    Right-click MapleSaga.exe and set the compatibility mode to Windows 98.

    I can't even install it, I don't have MapleSaga.exe. I mean I have it in Downloads folder on mac. The Crossover uses this exe to install but it can't install. I have just wine and crossover config

    I play on older version no problem, it is something I don't need now but I'm afraid I will stuck with my version some day

    You won't be able to play on the older version after tomorrow. Try to configure wine with a different Windows version (not Windows 98) and run the installer again.

    It installed on windows XP. If I run it the icon shows in the dock and disapears.
