I download the new version for mac, I extracted it and ran the install program, after that it says that I should double click on maple saga app to open it. I do it and it says that it could't open because the disk that it was located in was ejected, I click on it to open again and the computer starts verifying it and after that it shows ERROR! cannot write to Info.plist, there are permission problems, or you are on a read-only volume. This cannot run from within a read-only dmg file.
Can you try moving the entire MapleSaga.app file into your Mac OS X Documents folder? Then try running it again. Don't run MapleSaga.app from an external drive (only your main hard drive).
No it didnt lol. Still the same problem tried to move the files to library but the same error appeared
I found a solution! Move the MapleSaga application to your desktop and open it from there. It worked for me.
Oh I tried to do this as well but it dindn't work either, I disabled the icloud drive from my computer now, will try to download it again and move it to the desktop when I get home. Thanks
I'm uploading another MapleSaga .zip file for Macs right now - I don't think uploading this new package will solve this problem in particular but it might be worth giving a shot
well i think i kinda have a similar problem i´ve just installed maplesaga and when i was trying to open it an error appeared and said something about permission problems and that im on a read only volume so i searched it up and found this thread. after dragging the whole file to my desktop and disabling icloud drive i am still getting that error and am unable the open the game.... any advice?
