Lag spikes during and after Castellan raids

For the past 2-3 months, on multiple occasions, I have been experiencing horrible lag spikes whenever I go for Castellan raids, particularly after Body 2 spawns. Even after the raid is over, the lag spike will still persist for another couple of hours, making it very difficult for me to continue in-game activities after the raid. It has cost me multiple close shaves and a couple of deaths in other raids :') Initially, I thought it was just a coincidence that the lag spikes only happen during and after Castellan raids, but I have also been actively going for other raids like Chaos Zakum, Horntail etc., and I do not get a lag spike from those raids.

I have tried reopening the client, restarting my laptop and router whenever the lag spikes occur, but to no avail. Even as I am logging in, it already takes a while to load. I am not sure what the exact problem is, why it has been happening and how to solve it. Could it be a bug as a result of the new patch? Or could it have something to do with my MacBook? (I am using a MacBook Pro (early 2015), macOS Mojave.)
