I tried redownloading the new patch, doing the test run on wineskin, moving maplesaga to my desktop as well as applications folder, and also tried restarting my Mac. I took a screenshot of what comes up when I click the install command... something about "no such file or directory" found. Please let me know if there is anything else I can try. Thanks.
Right-click Maplesaga Icon on your Desktop Show Package Contents Wine Advanced Test Run Wait (First load-up can take ~5 minutes) You can also go to Spotlight and search for 'Activity Monitor'. Click on the Process Name tab on the top left-hand corner to organize alphabetically. You should see several MapleSaga processes and one Maplestory process name listed. Under CPU Time, if the timers for any of these processes increment upward, you know that these processes are running. If not, you know you've got a problem with launch.
I tried the advanced test run on on wineskin, and it doesn't work. I also checked the activity monitor and nothing under MapleSaga or Maplestory is listed. I guess there is a problem with the launch, but how can I fix that? Already tried to redownloading it.
It seems you moved MapleSaga.app out of the MapleSaga_20170823_MAC folder. Re-extract the game from the .zip. Run install.command immediately.
Tried both... Maplesaga app is still in the 20170823 folder. Same problem keeps happening. Something wrong with the Maplesaga.exe file maybe.
Maybe y'all want to try this? I faced all the issues you did on this thread, and managed to figure out how to download Maplesaga I don't understand why, but it seems like unzipping the folder from the application 'Archive Utility' instead of 'iUnarchive' (which I had used previously) was what worked for me Managed to install Maplesaga properly And you gotta - Allow Apps downloaded from 'Anywhere' in Security & Privacy Settings too
