Hello Maplers! This thread will be about how to corrupt your end game weapon, and how to obtain corrupted scrolls to finish it. Here a guide about end game weapons -> here So first of all, know that you can’t corrupt an end game weapon if it’s not finished (+8 or +0 but, with 0 slots left.) Also, you will need TB3 to obtain the item (Occult Magic Box) to corrupt your weapon - so a player who have TB2 and do Pink Bean for TB3 won’t have the Occult Magic Box. You will need to have a Marble of Chaos which is obtained by doing ToT (Temple of Time) quests. Here you are, you finished your weapon, and you want to corrupt it - But how? Find players to do Pink Bean with you -> this little cute monster. If possible (Ideal party) : - 1 Warrior: Because Pink Bean will seduce randomly players so Rush is needed because if the Warrior rush correctly there are no seduces. (Heroes or Dark Knights perf because of the long range of atk) - 1 Bishop or mage: Pink Bean seals a lot and stun so Holy Shield is something useful (if the warrior didn't rush correctly). Plus, you will need a mobber to kill monsters which CWA (Cancel Weapon Attack). - 1 BowMaster: Because of SE (Sharp Eyes) And 3 DPS or Supportive classes - Night Lords, Corsairs, Shadower or Buccaneers. Pink Bean is often pretty long to kill because of his high weapon defense, which approximately reduces your damages x2. (It’s not exactly 50%, we don’t really know.) His HP is 1,000,000,000 and you will have 2 hours to kill him. (Won’t be 2 hours if you have carries) but he is cute at least uwu So after you finally kill him -> Talk to the NPC to leave the place and you will obtain 1000 Fame, and the Occult Magic Box. You click on the box in your Cash Inventory it will tells you this: Be sure to unequip your weapon or the weapon you want to corrupt, and put it in the first slot of your equip tab like this. When you are ready, click again on the box and ta-da: Your weapon is now corrupted and untradeable. In case you didn’t understand, if you corrupt a Fist Of Malice with 71WA and 0 slots left, it will become a 71WA with 5 slots, if you corrupt a Fist Of Malice 111WA, it will become a 111WA with 5 slots, etcetc. Now that you have your weapon corrupted, you want to scroll it. For this, you will need to do Chaos Party Quests. (Kerning or Ludibrium) Check out these guides made by Mike for more informations: here for Kerning and here for Ludibrium The Success rate is 10%. It’s the same as 10% scroll, except for WA - it gives +1% of the Weapon Attack. So if your current weapon has 149 and below WA, it will be +1WA. If your weapon has 150 or above, it will be +2WA. Let’s say your Corrupted weapon begins at 149WA, the first successful scroll will give +1WA, and it becomes 150WA - after that, because it’s 150WA, all other successful scrolls will give +2WA. No, as long as the weapon has 0 slots, it can be corrupted. This isn't recommended for anything other than aesthetic purposes though, since corruption is quite costly and only adds 1 or 2 weapon attack per slot at best.
