Medal Buffs and Rankings Medals are a fun way to collect HP bonuses and stat upgrades on MapleSaga. The amount of HP you receive from medals will depend on two factors: Medal count (how many medals you have) Your level You can earn up to 3000 HP from collecting medals. You can also collect +30 to all stats from collecting medals with our Prestige system (see below). Medal Requirements Below is a table showing the in-game "requirement description" of each medal. Emphasis is placed on in-game, because many of these descriptions do not fully describe what is required to get the medal (i.e., "wearing a unique ring set", "wearing a unique outfit"). Additionally, medals that are received for receiving a set of medals (such as Party Quest Maniac) have had their requirement descriptions cut for brevity. You will notice that on every character, there is a Prestige item on your pendant slot by default. This Prestige can give you up to +30 to all stats. You do this by collecting 10 special Prestige medals. Each medal gives +3 all stats to your prestige. These medals can be viewed by talking to the Dalair NPC in game. They are: Event Conqueror Jump Quest Grand Champion Legendary Medal Collector Master Ironman Monster Book High Commander Party Quest Maniac Raid Grand Commander Socialite Superstar Ultimate Explorer Remember that Prestige is shared between all characters in a single account (shared login ID). (Except that +HP is limited by some other factors and so you might see different +HP on your characters in the same account). This means that you can complete these medals on different characters in the same account. For example, you can create a Party Quest mule to do all your party quest medals. However, a single medal must be completed by a single character. For example, if a medal requires you to use 500 SBC tickets, you have to use all 500 tickets on one character. I will go through them in order of difficulty (based on popular opinion): 1. Superstar Spoiler Use 500 SBC tickets on a single character. Use @SBC to buy Special Beauty Coupons. Every single use randomly changes your hair, hair colour, face and skin colour cosmetics. Every 20 SBC tickets cost 10 million mesos. This medal will cost you 250 million mesos. This might be a lot of money for some of you but I list it as number 1 as it is the quickest to complete. Protip: You can use @SBC quicker by using macros. Open your skill tab, click "Macro". Under the "Create my own skill name" box, type "@sbc". Put any one skill into the macro and then set it on your keyboard. It will require you to type "I want to change everything" in the box each time you change. You can make this process quicker by copying the phrase. Note for Mac users, you have use Ctrl-c and Ctrl-v instead of the standard Cmd-c / Cmd-v. 2. Socialite Spoiler Give 100 positive fames. This one will take you 3.5 months at the quickest as you may only fame once every 24 hours but it's as simple as it sounds. Just remember to fame someone daily. Protip: Make this a daily habit by doing it every day after you @susan. 3. Ultimate Explorer Spoiler Obtain all Explorer Medals This one can be quite tedious but it's extremely simple. You just walk around the whole of Saga. Click below for the respective guides. Victoria Explorer Ossyria Explorer (made up of the below medals) Minar Forest Explorer Nihal Explorer Mu Lung Explorer Undersea Explorer Ludus Lake Explorer El Nath Explorer Temple of Time Explorer (Simple enough don't need a guide) Maple Island Explorer (Simple enough don't need a guide - you may have to create a new character for this one. I think if you delete the character that completed this medal you will lose it too) Sleepywood Explorer Protip: "Top of the Tree that Grew" map is removed from saga. Just go to the map before it. You simply have to enter each map listed in the guides. Do it systematically. If you get mixed up you might have to repeat everything to figure out what you missed. 4. Legendary Medal Collector Spoiler Earn 300 medals. Self-explanatory. 5. Raid Grand Commander Spoiler Complete 160 raids (excluding Papulatus and Pianus) This one should come naturally. You don't have to worry about it. 6. Party Quest Maniac Spoiler Earn at least 4 Graduate Party Quest Medals. Each PQ has 5 tier of medals - Beginner, Intermediate, Graduate, Superior, Master. You only need the Graduate level for 4 Party Quests. These include: Kerning Party Quest Graduate - 10 KPQ runs Ludibrium Party Quest Graduate - 10 LPQ runs Monster Carnival Graduate - Open 25 Golden Moustache Boxes (can do both normal and hard modes) Mu Lung Dojo Graduate - 10 Dojo runs Pirate Party Quest Graduate - 40 PPQ runs Sleepywood Boss Rush Graduate - 30 SPQ runs Time Chamber Boss Rush Graduate - 20 Time Chamber runs Crimsonwood Keep Boss Rush Graduate - 30 CWK runs Protip: A lot of people grind for Master medals but if you're lazy like me then you may choose to follow my recommendation. KPQ (10 runs is really easy) Time Chamber, CWK (These are necessary anyway if you want to progress) MCPQ or LPQ (personally I hate LPQ) 7. Event Conqueror Spoiler Win at least 6 unique GM Events. Bingo, Ola Ola and Piggy Piggy DO NOT count. This one takes some skill (Bob) and some luck (Russian Roulette). Just join as many events as you can when @alex hosts them. 8. Jump Quest Grand Champion Spoiler Complete at least 15 Jump Quests Protip: You have to try your luck whenever you see JQ race is happening on channel one. Just attend every one. If it's not the one you need you can just leave immediately. 9. Monster Book High Commander Spoiler Collect every single Monster Card Protip: Do all the ones that you can't get in VIP dungeon first then simply 24 hour 2x drop in dungeon for the rest. 10.
