For all aspiring players and prospective newcomers who are trying to figure out what your end-game build should be:

    Weapons

    1. For warrior, bowman, thief, pirate – level 150 weapon from Chaos Zakum.

    2. For mage – level 130 wand from Castellan Toad. Do note that there is no Iceblitz and Firestorm equivalent for Bishops. As such, Bishops may use either Iceblitz or Firestorm without having regard to the ice and fire elemental damage amplifier derived from these end-game wands.

    3. The ultimate goal is to perfectly scroll the weapon(s) using 10% attack/magic attack scrolls in conjunction with White Scrolls. Note that White Scrolls are only obtainable through Berzerker Challenge and VIP Gachapon.

    Overall, Cape, Shoes, Gloves, Helmet

    1. Chaos Scrolls will come into play for players looking to enhance their end-game gears. It is the only method in which one can enhance the WA/MA and stat points of these gears.

    2. The exceptions to point (1) above are:
    • Gloves for warrior, bowman, thief and pirate - the best way to maximize the potential of gloves is by using 10% Gloves for Attack scrolls in conjunction with White Scrolls. The enhancement derived from each 10% Gloves for Attack scroll is a guaranteed +3 WA, as opposed to the randomly generated ±2 WA and ±5 stat points enhancement derived from Chaos Scroll.
    • Mage gears, other than shoes - It is often worth considering using a combination of Chaos Scrolls (to start with in order to maximize the potential of up to 10 TMA gain) and 10%/30%/60%/70% scrolls for INT/MA (to end with so as to not suffer a loss in TMA in case Chaos Scrolls yield bad results). Chaos Scroll gives a randomly generated ±5 MA and ±5 stat points enhancement. There is no scrolls for INT/MA for shoes.
    3. When choosing between the 3 type of gears, the most important factor to take into consideration is perhaps the class-agnostic feature of Charon gears vis-à-vis Frontier and Pensalir gears which are class specific. Many players value the flexibility of being able to share the Charon gears among characters of different classes. For this reason, and for the fact that they are only available through VIP Gachapon, Charon gears often come with a much higher (if not the highest) price tag.

    4. Aside from the max HP bonus from Pensalir gears, there is no meaningful comparison between Frontier and Pensalir gears which have been scrolled - ultimately it is the WA/MA and stat points (and consequently their prices) that will dictate your decision to choose one over the other.

    5. 10% and/or 30% Gloves for Attack scrolls are used to perfect the gloves (eliminating the element of randomness attributable to Chaos Scroll), the additional 1 maximum WA and superior base stat points of Pensalir gloves makes it a clear winner over Frontier gloves.

    6. There is no set bonus from Charon, Frontier and Pensalir gears. Players are free to mix and match any of these gears.

    7. Some old/existing Frontier and Pensalir gears have all 4 stat points (STR, DEX, INT, LUK), but they have since been discontinued. All new Frontier and Pensalir gears will have only the primary and secondary stats of the respective class.

    8. All Charon, Frontier and Pensalir gears are tradeable.

    9. Charon, Frontier and Pensalir gears have the same number of upgrade slots.

    Earrings

    1. Chaos Scrolls are used to enhance the WA/MA and stat points of earrings. Mages should use 10%/30% Earrings for INT scrolls instead.

    2. Most players will opt for Transcendent Dimension Earrings given that they have the best potential - highest base stat points and number of upgrade slots.

    3. Crimsonheart Earrings are hard to come by (hence the exorbitant price) and are typically deemed as a luxury item for players who want the flexibility to trade the earrings.

    Pendants

    1. Chaos Scrolls are used to enhance the WA/MA and stat points of pendants. There is no INT/Magic Attack scroll for pendants.

    2. Most players will opt for Horntail Necklace or Charon Pendant, they both have comparable WA/MA and stat points, and have 3 upgrade slots.

    3. Technically speaking, Spiegelmann's Necklace of Chaos has the greatest potential given its 5 upgrade slots, but one would have to be extremely lucky to realize the upside potential from using Chaos Scrolls.

    Face Accessory

    1. Chaos Scrolls are used to enhance the WA/MA and stat points of face accessories. There is no INT/Magic Attack scroll for face accessories.

    2. Most players will opt for Blessed Crimson Symbol as its alternatives have little to no potential for improvements through upgrade with Chaos Scrolls.

    3. Guy Fawkes Mask (1 to 2 WA/MA, 1 to 2 stat points, 3 upgrade slots) is a notable alternative as an end-game Face Accessory, though they are event-exclusive and not always available.

    Eye Accessory

    1. For warrior, bowman, thief, pirate - Dimension Glass, crafted with Crystanol Fragments obtained by completing Time Chamber Boss Rush.

    2. For mages - Eternal Aeon Lens, crafted and upgraded with Purple Stone of Magic obtained by completing Sleepywood Boss Rush.

    3. Chaos Scroll are used to enhance the WA/MA and stat points of eye accessories. Mages can consider using 30%/60% Eye Accessory for INT scrolls.

    Shield

    1. Heroes, Paladins, Shadowers and Mages may craft and upgrade Transcendent Dimension Shields (untradeable and wearable only by specific class) using Crystanol Fragments from Time Chamber Boss Rush.

    2. Other alternatives that are tradeable, though having inferior clean stat points as compared to Transcendent Dimension Shields, are:
    3. Maple Shield has 10 slots and thus has the best end-game potential as a WA shield. It can be scrolled with up to 10x 10% Shield for WA scrolls for a guaranteed +3 WA and +2 STR, as opposed to the randomly generated ±2 WA and ±5 stat points enhancement derived from Chaos Scroll. Mages vying for MA Shield can use a combination of Chaos Scroll and 30%/60% Shield for MA scrolls.

    Rings

    1. There are 4 rings obtainable by all players, 2 of which are permanent while the other 2 are non-permanent rings awarded to the most-deserving players at the end of each weekly sprint.

    2. Each player can only have 1 each of these 4 rings, regardless the rings' level.

    3. The 2 permanent rings are:
    • Trailblazer Ring - obtained and upgraded by completing Trailblazer quests from Amos (NPC in the Free Market). Do note that Trailblazer Ring (Level 3) can be further upgraded through the Blessing of Fairy feature. The stat points for Trailblazer Ring are fixed, e.g. the same for all players.
    • Berzerker Ring - obtained and upgraded by completing the Berzerker Challenge. The stat points for Berzerker Ring are variable:
      • Berzerker Ring (Level 1) gives 2 randomly selected stats a range of 1 - 3 stat points respectively. Players can craft Berzerker Ring (Level 1) for as many times as they wish (the Berzerker Ring must be discarded before attempting the Berzerker Challenge if one wishes to craft a new Berzerker Ring (Level 1)), but each player can only attempt the Berzerker Challenge once a day. A competent player should aim for a Berzerker Ring (Level 1) with 2 or 3 stat points on primary stat, and at least 1 stat point on secondary stat.
      • Berzerker Ring (Level 2) upgrades Berzerker Ring (Level 1) by 2 - 4 stat points. The total stat points ranges from 3 - 7 stat points.
      • Berzerker Ring (Level 3) upgrades Berzerker Ring (Level 2) by a further 2 - 4 points. The total stat points ranges from 5 - 11 stat points.
    4. Technically speaking, the 2 non-permanent rings are not deemed as end-game gears, but I figured it may be helpful to mention them here nonetheless.

    5. The 2 non-permanent rings, which are valid for 1-week (e.g. for the entire duration of a weekly sprint), include:
    • Raid Ring - obtained by top ranking players by Fame at the end of each weekly sprint. Players may earn a significant amount of Fame by:
      • Most typically defeating raid bosses (i.e. Zakum, Scarlion & Targa, The Boss, Horntail, Castellan Toad and Chaos Zakum) for 200 to 1000 Fame each.
      • Completing the Temple of Time Boss Rush (e.g. defeating Pink Bean) for 1200 Fame, though this is a far less common option and is typically done only to obtain Trailblazer Ring (Level 3).
    • Guild War Ring - obtained by top ranking guilds by Guild Points at the end of each weekly sprint.

Awesome guide; it actually helps me settle some of the headache I've had trying to make sense of my end-game gear this morning.
So many options, it gets frustrating trying to figure it all out.

    Thanks a bunch!

Fantastic guide! I really enjoyed the comparison tables and the consistency you provided through and through. Maybe add a section on earrings? You can include the Neo PQ earrings vs the Crimson Heart earrings from CWK PQ

Hi! I just started yesterday and I currently have a lvl 15 steel titan. Do you think I should aim for charon earrings first or switch my weapon over to the Sap of Ancient Tree obtained from Crimsonwood pq?
Also would maxing double stab as a night lord be a good option? Stars are so expensive T^T
    Thanks a lot Akihiko !!

I'm terribly sorry for you, it seems that you've been grossly misinformed.

Charon Earrings are inferior in all aspects when compared to Chaos Zakum Earrings that you're able to get by defeating Chaos Horntail, though the chance of getting a pair of the earrings is abysmal. Here's a useful tip to improve your odds - touch Chaos Horntail's head every time the timer hits 21 seconds, and for at least 21 times throughout the raid.

I can't agree more with you - the cost of buying and recharging throwing stars is an absolute nightmare! But fret not, a good alternative is to equip Impact Rifle (level 75 weapon) and shoot bullets with it. It's not too late since you're only at level 21 level after 21 days in-game. I'd suggest for you to forget about Double Stab altogether and stick with Three Snails for the time being.

    Hope this helps!

P.S. Have you heard of the ggwash meta?

Thank you for your kind words.

There is already a section covering earrings - could you let me know what details, information or commentary in particular you'd hope to see?

Updated the guide to incorporate the latest changes:

    1. Pensalir overall and cape now drop from Castellan Toad instead of Chaos Zakum.

    2. Pensalir overall, cape and shoes now give max HP bonus (varies in accordance to each class).

    3. Pensalir gloves no longer gives max HP bonus.

Gear pretty much stay the same. Try to get pensalir gear as that adds considerable hp helping an unwashed character a lot. If you find any decent old gear(4stat(with int)) that could help too Also, try washing all the excess mp you can to hp. Other than that, medals, secretkey for friendship ring, treasure for mount and chocolate for crush ring is what you need to increase your hp. Guild war+ trailblazer+ raid ring gives you a lot too.
I wouldn’t try to get the earings with hp as those are either very expensive for good stat ones or very rare(still expensive ish for bad ones)
