[macOS] Running MapleSaga using CrossOver Mac

Has anyone successfully downloaded for 2022 Macbook Air M2? I am getting this error - Failed in finding proper screen mode for Gr2D.

when I success log in saga account
I click my acc then I got disconnected

anyone know what ways can fix it ? or how could I do ?

Have you re-downloaded maplesaga?

There's been a patch so the old client wont work. If you had the old client then it would log you out when you click on the account.

yes I already downloaded new patch and I use crossover play saga

I try redownload saga and run crossover still can't click in my account

any crossover setting t I ignore ?

When following the steps, I encountered the message: "Failed in finding proper screen for gr2d". I suspect the problem was that maplesaga is not compatible with the mac m1's 14" screen size. So a fix from this maplelegends forum that seems to work is to use an external monitor to launch it then after awhile (5min of playing) unplug and then play on the mac. This successfully bypasses the error and allows me to play, but it is unstable on my laptop (mac pro m1 macOS Ventura 13.0.1). So I explored the alternative of using Parallels Desktop (forum post).

 

I got the game to actually launch now, but it freezes every time it gets to the wizet screen. I ran it with a log file, and the all the errors seem to be surrounding the ws2_32.dll file, which I downloaded and copied into the system_32 folder. Does anyone know what my problem might be?
This is the first error line I get:
002e:err:module:find_forwarded_export function not found for forward 'ws2_32.WahCloseApcHelper' used by L"C:\\windows\\system32\\WS2HELP.dll". If you are using builtin L"WS2HELP.dll", try using the native one instead.

 

Anyone figure this out? I downloaded saga and crossover. Every time I double click maplesaga on crossover, the maplesaga app on the dock below would appear, but no new window would pop open.

OMG IM USING MacBook M2 too! But I can't even open MapleSaga at all. It's legit not opening, no popout at all

 

You have to install the 800X600 version as 1280X700 is not supported using crossover in Mac.

 

Try install your bottle Window XP-32bit, then set the compatibility of Windows 98.
