Hello, Since August 2nd, I've been encountering consistent lag spikes. Been playing for two months and haven't experienced any consistent lag spikes until now. Just writing here to check if this is normal for a player from California, USA or if anyone is experiencing the same thing. Hope the issues resolves itself.
I'm at Cali as well and I've been hit with hard lag. It literally takes 10 seconds for me to pot and everything happens all once when lag stops. But it comes back every 5 seconds. ign: AyJayv2 ign: BlackRabbit
havent experienced (im not PST) this but i've been hearing other people from cali/PST complain about lag recently as well. anecdotally at least this seems to be pretty common rn.
The traceroute from our servers to California is experiencing some temporary turbulence. Like the turbulence that SG/MY players had gotten in the past (which is why we created the SG/MY gateway), this will pass. I will look into allowing Californian players through the SG/MY gateway (this would open a new route, which would lead to less lag or no lag at all). (In the meantime) if you happen to have a VPN, I would suggest connecting to a location that is outside of California and seeing if your situation improves.
Im from Msia, Ive been having the same spikes too! any way I can solve it? Im running saga thru Mac btw
