Swallow - the lost seed broken

Details:
In the quest, you are supposed to plant the magic seed on the roof of Hongbu or Nolbu. As this character is a thief, I planted it on Hongbu's roof. The gourd spawned, but did not drop the quest item required for me to progress the quest. Tried it with Nolbu's roof for posterity. Same thing happened.

 

I have this same issue as well.

 

I have a similar situation where the quest item dropped (Box of Jewelry) from Hongbu's gourd but no quest completion after. Only quest available is picking up another magic seed from the swallow for some odd reason

 

Same thing for me when I tried yesterday.

 

just skip this quest. its bugged for quite some time already.

 

Update: I got it to work for one of my characters randomly. No idea how.

Still bugged on another char.
