Overview "The towns throughout the Maple World and the treasures within them are properties for those who deserve them. And whoever defends the town from eminent danger, will be considered the township's defenders of honor." During the 1 week sprints, a dangerous Guild Boss spawns in towns, wreaking chaos wherever it goes. Guilds from all over then gather to defeat the boss before it causes too much harm, earning Guild Points for their effort. These guild bosses will spawn at the following times and maps: 07:45 Server Time (PST) - Perion 09:00 Server Time (PST) - Ellinia 10:15 Server Time (PST) - Orbis 19:45 Server Time (PST) - Kerning City 21:00 Server Time (PST) - Mu Lung 22:15 Server Time (PST) - Ludibrium The guild that deals the most damage to the guild boss will earn 100 GP for their guild. Guilds who don't end up winning in the guild war will also receive up to 80 GP for participation, based on the damage they deal. At the end of the 1 week sprint, guilds with the most GP will be rewarded the amazing Guild War Rings! Guild War Rings (Level 3) are the strongest rings, with Level 2 being the 2nd-best ring and Level 1 being the worst ring. You can view the rings in detail by visiting the MapleSaga Library Ring Section. Guild War Rings (Level 3) will be handed to the guild that has the most Guild Points at the end of the sprint. Guild War Rings (Level 2) will be handed to the guild that has the second most Guild Points at the end of the sprint. Guild War Rings (Level 1) will be handed to all guilds that have at least 200 Guild Points. Players who do not attend Guild Wars will not receive a Guild War Ring if their guild wins a Guild War Ring prize. The top 5 guilds for the entire month will earn a spot on the MapleSaga Hall of Fame. Care Packages "The townspeople, gracious of the heroes' help, offer gifts and hospitality to their defenders. It seems, though, that glory is what they seek, sabotaging enemy guilds in their wake. Will the land be saved peacefully? Or will it be ruined by greed?" During Guild Wars, Care Packages (shown above) will spawn throughout the town when the Guild Boss is spawned. If all the Care Packages are wiped out and the Guild Boss is still alive, they will respawn every 30 seconds. Skills can work on Care Packages but they only take 1 damage per hit. The following is a list of possible effects from opening Care Packages. All effects are randomly chosen, with some rarer than others. Please note that in any Guild War, the winning guild (guild with the most Guild Points) will have the weakest effects and the losing guilds (guilds that are currently not in the lead) will have the strongest effects (like Seduce). Bomb Attack Spawns 1 bomb under the Guild Boss, knocking-back and stunning all enemy players in the area. Bomb Barrage Spawns 7 bombs around the Guild Boss, knocking-back and stunning all enemy players in the battle. Slowing Spell Selects a random opposing guild and slows all of its members. Slowing Spell (Global) Slows all opposing guild members. Paralyzing Hex Selects a random opposing guild and stuns all of its members. Paralyzing Hex (Global) Stuns all opposing guild members. Weakening Hex Selects a random opposing guild and weakens all of its members. Weakening Hex (Global) Weakens all opposing guild members. Ancient Curse Transforms all opposing guild members into penguins. Negation Spell Dispels the skills of all opposing guild members. Entrapping Seal Seduces the top guild in the battle. After the War After the Guild War is over, everyone who participated will get the Power Scream buff, which gives +14 Weapon Attack, +25 Magic Attack and a 5% boost in EXP for 30 minutes!
