First of all, i'd like to say that i've tried reinstalling and even redownloading the game. So here, I play normally with no problem. After awhile(maybe when I alt tabbing a few times) when im inside any mob/boss map, my game starts to fps drop really hard non stop. Like there's someone clicking on print screen to take pictures constantly and the ''freez'' is for about half a second. (I'm not talking about lag freez btw if any1 misunderstand). The only temporarity ''solution'' I found is to exit the game and enter again and then it all works just fine till it happens again. I just wanna say, once I go to a map town/city, FM or BPQ, it works great, but once I go back to a mob map, it happens again. That's so annoying! It's the first time im experiencing such a thing in my whole maplestory gaming expericne. It has nothing to do with my PC, I have a pretty nice one, and MS shouldn't recuire even a good one lol..
Although you are correct, a maple server such as Saga should not require a good PC to run. You also need to take into account that it could be your graphics card. I have similar issues in-game as well, except it only happens when I enter a map with lazers in it. (Kerning Jump Quests for example) This issue is caused by my graphics card not being compatible with the map, nothing to do with my computer itself!
Thanks for the answer mate, but I dont think that my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 should have this happening. That's not the best card, but it sure lets me run even the newest games normally and above. Also, I said, it's only on Maple Saga, as if now i'll try a different server (any) it wont happen, it never did. That's why it makes me upset, it's like my luck says: gtfo.
I know the feeling lol The lazers on MapleSaga seem to only be the issue here for me. Anywhere else works just fine! I can't give you a definitive answer other than my own experience :'(
I think the current lag is due to increase in players. I don’t lag previously but right now I’m feeling it.
